Discontinued foods we wish you could still buy in Northern Ireland

There are so many sweets, crisps, chocolate and other treats that are no longer available to buy here in Northern Ireland.

These products bring us back years, some even decades, but have been discontinued or are no longer sold in the UK.

Here are a few of the items we wish we could still buy in Northern Ireland, they will definitely give you a little flavour of past times.

Walkers BBQ Rib Crisps

These were definitely a firm favourite among crisps lovers but haven’t been around in years.

This chocolate biscuit bar with a creamy centre was a short lived minty addition to the biscuit selection, sadly that’s the way the cookie crumbles.

Coco Pops Straws

These were a must as a child, which you drank your milk through to make it taste like chocolate.

Milkybar Choo Classic

These tasty, chewy white chocolate bars are no longer available in shops here – but the great news is they are sold on Amazon.

Wibbly Wobbly Wonders

This was made by HB Ice Cream and were not only delicious – but delicious to even say out loud.

Banshee Bones

1990s kids will definitely miss these fiendishly tasty treats.

Flake Snow

Cadbury’s Flake Snow chocolate bar. It replaces the Snowflake bar which has lost sales.

Thousands of fans have even signed a petition to bring these back!

Mars Delight

A light version of the original Mars bar but containing wafer too.

More variations on the humble Mars bar that melted into obscurity.

Haribo Micro Mix

The MicroMix from sweet giants Haribo are no longer sold in the UK.

Most likely aimed at appeasing mums and grans and bought from garages as a last minute gift. Much missed.

It’s unlikely you’ll be able to find another one of these!

These sweets were discontinued in 2005. The mixed flavours were deffo the best Toffo.

No longer on general sale but you may be lucky to find a bar somewhere.

Not sure who these were aimed at and now they’re aimed at no body, but you may be able to find something similar.

Cadbury Fuse

Containing chocolate, nuts, cereal and fudge – Fuse fizzled out and was taken off the shelves in 2006.
