New Love Island bombshell Georgia Townend joked she “would not recommend” Snowdon after getting caught in wind and rain during a walk up the Welsh mountain.
The 28-year-old marketing executive from Essex – who was the latest islander to head into the villa alongside new arrivals Abigail Rawlings and Tyler Cruickshank – labelled the trek “absolutely horrific” after battling the elements in North Wales
In a picture posted on her Instagram in August 2020, a soaking wet Georgia posed with a tiny Welsh flag and a huge grin on her face after reaching the summit.

Tagging herself at Snowdon, Georgia wrote: “Snowdon(e). Deceiving smile. Absolutely horrific. Would not recommend.”
Commenting, a follower wrote: “Brutal in the rain! No one warns you!! Well done!”
The new Love Island contestant responded: “Thank you! Was honestly dreadful! That and the wind felt like a rag doll.”
Georgia, who has her eye on Hugo Hammond, said her family and friends would describe her as “very gregarious and the life and soul of the party” as well as funny and intelligent.
She added: “I’m really kind at heart but I can be quite tough love.”
The bombshell also admitted she “absolutely hates sports” but her “desire to win” negates that when asked if she was competitive before heading into the villa.
Georgia also revealed she was joining Love Island after five years single and detailed what she looks for in a partner.
“I like someone who we can have solid flirt to roast ratio, as in he can tease me but he will treat the things that I care about with respect and with the clemency that they deserve,” she explained. ” I don’t want someone that is really vacuous and isn’t aware of what’s going on in the world.”
When asked who she had her eye on in the villa, Georgia said: “Hugo – he is my absolute number one and I can’t wait to get to know him. Also, I love Teddy’s charm and charisma. I also like Aaron.”
Hugo is currently single after AJ, who he was coupled up with, was dumped from the villa alongside Danny Biddy.
Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2.
