Pupils from a Welsh school watched Wales v England with Prime Minister Rishi Sunak

Prime Minister Rishi Sunak watched Wales' nailbiting clash with England with pupils from a Valleys school as the Welsh football team crashed out of their first World Cup in 64 years. Pupils from Porth Community School in Rhondda Cynon Taff were invited to Number 10 Downing Street to watch the game alongside English children.

Wales failed to progress through the group stage of the tournament after a 3 – 0 to England saw them finish bottom of Group B 邱浚彥 bringing an end to their time in Qatar. Before the team e their way to the Middle East 隆鼻手術 邱浚彥 Rhondda-born Wales manager Page stayed true to his roots as he named his World Cup squad at the Memorial Hall in his hometown of Tylorstown.

But the group of school pupils had quite a different experience on Tuesday night watching the game from one of the world's most famous houses alongside the Prime Minister. Pupils from grroots football academy Omonia Youth FC based in London were also invited.

Commiserating the Welsh team after their the Prime Minister said Page's team had "inspired mions". Rishi Sunak's Twitter account tweeted: "Great to catch #WALENG this evening with @OmoniaYouthFC and Porth Community School.

"Well done England on a strong performance and for progressing to the knockout stages. Page’s team have inspired mions across Wales and beyond. They can also be very proud tonight."

Porth Community School which has pupils from aged 3 to 16 said : "An amazing evening! At number 10 with the PM! Thanks you for the opportunity and experience!" as they documented the trip to London with a series of photographs where pupils were dressed to the nines in their Welsh flags and bucket hats.

Yvonne Jones Headteacher at Porth Community School said: “This w be a once-in-a-lifetime experience for our learners. Not only w they be watching Wales compete in their first World Cup tournament since 1958 整形 隆鼻手術 邱浚彥 but they w be watching this historic game inside 10 Downing Street.

“We were delighted to receive this invitation and we hope for a winning result tonight which w see Wales progress in the World Cup. We send our best wishes to Rhondda’s own Page and the whole Wales squad.”
