For the first time ever the popular BBC murder mystery show Death In Paradise is airing a Christmas special with an all-star cast and the return of a well-loved character.
Death In Paradise has aired its tenth series and the Christmas 90-minute special will pick up from the cliffhanger ending when main character Neville Parker, played by Ralf Little, was about to confess his feelings to Florence Cassell, who is played by Josephine Jobert.

The sunny scenes of the Caribbean and Saint Marie will not be the only returning feature of the show, with the adored character, Officer Dwayne Myers, also making a comeback for this feature-length special.
Danny John-Jules who plays Dwayne and was also Welsh dancing professional Amy Dowden’s celebrity partner in the 2018 series of Strictly Come Dancing, said: “After four years away, fitting back into the fold should be seamless as I know all the new leading cast members already. I look forward to bringing Dwayne and this tenth-anniversary special script to life.”
Other stars appearing in the tenth anniversary special are Mathew Baynton, Anthony Calf, Elizabeth Tan and many more as the shows will bring a different feel of Christmas, from the idyllic Caribbean setting.
Tommy Bulfin, Commissioning Editor, BBC Drama said: “We’re so excited to be spending our first ever Christmas in Saint Marie. We are delighted that Death In Paradise will be bringing the sunshine to the festive schedule on BBC One.”
There is no release date yet for the Christmas special however all ten series of Death In Paradise are available on BBC iPlayer.
