A pantomime dame is bidding for the chance to perform in front of Royal guests as part of this year’s Britain’s Got Talent (BGT) competition.
Robert Pearce – aka Gravesham’s favourite dame Mother Goose, or simply Mama G – appeared on the hit ITV entertainment show where people showcase their talents from the mundane to the extraordinary.
Gravesend favourite Mama G appeared on Britain's Got Talent
Mama G is a panto drag act and performer best known for her digital storytelling, tales of inclusivity and energetic live performances.
She has worked with Disney, Pride in London and London Zoo and performs regularly at the Woodville theatre in Gravesend, as well as various other venues across the UK.
During the pandemic she held virtual story time workshops with school kids, had one of her stories turned into a musical and even hosted her very own digital pride.
Now the local theatre star is turning her attention to TV as she looks to wow the likes of music mogul Simon Cowell.
Mama G posted on her socials about the new gig and featured in a teaser for the mammoth ITV show alongside the caption “two minutes on this show can change you life forever”.
