Loose Women cancelled: Why isn’t the daytime show on and when is it back?

Loose Women viewers will be disappointed to learn the daytime show will not broadcast this week.

The ITV programme has been taken off air to make way for the Cheltenham Festival.

Loose Women aired as normal on Monday, March 14 but will be replaced with the live horse racing from Tuesday, March 15 to Friday, March 18.

It will be back on screens as usual from Monday, March 21.

Ruth Langsford told ITV viewers: “We are off for the rest of this week because the racing is on ITV, so we will see you again next Monday.”

ITV’s other daytime programmes, including Lorraine and This Morning, will air as usual followed by the ITV daytime news at 12:30pm and the ITV Racing: Cheltenham Festival Live from 12:50pm.

Loose Women is not the only show impacted by sport this week, as Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway and the final of Starstruck have bothn been cancelled due to the Six Nations Live. You can read more on this here.

Meanwhile, the Dancing On Ice 2022 final has been postponed due to the FA Cup on Sunday night.
