One of Gogglebox’s most loved families, the Malones, have been comforted after they shared the sad news that their dog Lucy had passed away.
The family from Manchester were known for having their Rottweilers on their sofa with them during the show and have been comforted by fellow Gogglebox cast members.

The loss of Lucy comes after they lost one of their Rottweilers, Izzey just months ago in August 2021, news which they also announced on Instagram.
The Malones lost Lucy just seven months after their other Rottweiler Izzey passed away
Posting the news to their joint Instagram Tom Sr Malone and wife Julie said: “Today we said goodbye to our beloved Lucy, she fought right to end to stay with us. Now reunited with her sister Izzey.”
They added: “There are no words to describe how much you meant to us. Rest In Peace Sweetheart, you will always be in our hearts xx.”
The Malone family received a lot of comfort and well wishes from fellow Gogglebox cast members in the comments.
Welsh couple Dave and Shirley commented: “Sorry to hear that Tom, love Dave and Shirley xx”
Izzi Warner commented: “Rest in peace sweet girl, thinking of you all xx”
Stephen Webb said: “Sorry to hear this! Sending hugs xx”
Jenny and Lee added: “Heartbreaking for you all much love Jenny and Lee”
The Malones posted again to Instagram to thank everyone for their support, they said: “Heartfelt thanks for all your kind comments, they mean a lot.”
Fan favourites on the show the Malone family have starred on Gogglebox since 2014, with their adorable dogs creating many funny moments while on the show.
Gogglebox continues on Channel 4 on Friday, March, 11 at 9pm.
