Cherym are set to perform at the one and only Latitude festival, playing on the Trailer Park Stage next Saturday July 24. This will gear them up for their October 2021 UK tour dates with Alcopop! Records labelmates cheerbleederz.
In preparation for their Autumn UK tour, Cherym are delighted to announce news of their forthcoming new EP ‘Hey Tori’ which is set for release on September 30 2021 via Alcopop! Records.

And finally, the band have revealed a vibrant animated video for their latest single ‘We’re Just Friends ’, which is out now on Alcopop! Records.
Starting out as a kick-back against the local music scene boys club, their relentless enthusiasm and boundless energy are the perfect antidote to the drudgery of life under lockdown—a very bright shining light for 2021 at the end of what’s been a long tunnel.
Previous singles ‘Kisses On My Cards’ and ‘Listening To My Head’ caused a storm among new music enthusiasts across UK media, with a host of press coverage.
The tracks also landed on Spotify’s New Punk Tracks and The Punk List, and picked up over 100 radio plays, with enthusiastic support rolling.

Commenting on the single, drummer Alannagh Doherty said: “This is a song we wrote after spending some time thinking about life and some of the positive aspects of it, like relationships we have had that we can look back on, or the relationships that have yet to come.
It is a cheesy tune about being in a very wholesome relationship with your soul mate, if you want to believe in that kind of thing, and just finding who you want to be with.
“There is a wee bit of irony in the title because in any non-heteronormative relationships people tend to presume you are ‘just friends’ so that’s where the idea came from.”
