Jamie Dornan TV shows and movies that are the most popular

Heartthrob Jamie Dornan is one of the most famous faces to come out of Northern Ireland.

The Holywood native has starred in many TV shows and movies since he started his acting career in 2006.

His acting ability seems to be one of the best, being up for playing an array of roles in all different genres including comedy, romance, drama, thrillers and crime.

Here are the top ten things to watch featuring Dornan according to IMBD for those fond of the Northern Irish star.

1. Barb and Star Go to Vista Del Mar

Dornan takes to the beach in this role to perform ‘ Edgar’s Prayer’ in the new Lionsgate film written by and starring Bridesmaid’s duo Annie Mumolo and Kristen Wiig.

In the 2021 rom-com, the Holywood man plays Edgar Paget, the love interest of lifelong friends Barb and Star who embark on the adventure of a lifetime and leave their small Midwestern town for the first time ever.

2. Once Upon a Time

The Northern Irish actor portrays the Huntsman and Sheriff Graham in ABC’s Once Upon a Time.

In this fantasy series, a young woman is drawn to a small Maine town and discovers that it’s filled with elements of the fairytale world.

3. The Fall

The 39-year-old famously starred in The Fall from 2013 to 2016, a psychological thriller which examines the lives of two hunters.

One is a serial killer named Paul Spector who preys on victims in and around Belfast, played by the heartthrob.

The other is a female detective drafted from the London Metropolitan Police to catch him, played by Gillian Anderson.

4. Fifty Shades of Grey

Dornan rose to fame when he starred in Fifty Shades of Grey, released in 2015.

Literature student Anastasia Steele played by Dakota Johnson has her life changed forever when she meets billionaire Christian Grey, played by the local actor.

Mr Grey appears to be a handsome business man, but has a hidden life.

5. Fifty Shades Freed

In the sequel to Fifty Shades of Grey, the newly married couple embrace their connection and shared life of luxury.

Then, sinister events come to light jeopardising their happy ending.

6. Fifty Shades Darker

Another sequel to Fifty Shades of Grey.

While Christian wrestles with his inner demons, Anastasia confronts a woman who came before her.

7. Trolls World Tour

This was a small role for Dornan, playing the bounty-hunting Smoot Jazz troll, Chaz.

The local man told how his daughter was excited for him to appear in the movie.

8. Synchronic

An American science fiction thriller, with Dornan featuring as character Dennis Donnally.

He plays a New Orleans paramedics dealing with the casualties of a new designer drug.

9. Wild Mountain Thyme

The romance is based in rural-Ireland. Farmer Rosemary Muldoon played by Emily Blunt has her heart set on winning her neighbour Anthony Reilly’s love, played by Dornan.

In the plot, Anthony seems to have inherited a family curse and remains oblivious to Rosemary’s admiration of him.

10. Marie Antoinette

Dornan played a notable character Marie Antoinette back in 2006.

Count Axel is Marie Antoinette’s, played by Kirsten Dunst, lover.
