If you saw The One Show last night you’d have spotted it had a distinctly Welsh flavour with regular presenter, Alex Jones joined by Gethin Jones on the sofa and Gavin & Stacey’s Joanna Page as guest.
Not only was it brilliant to see and hear all this Welsh talent and accents on the primetime evening show but Gethin Jones then went and shared brilliant video from backstage with the two other Welshies.
Joanna was there to talk about her new presenting gig on Shop Well For Less, and barely took a breath as she talked about her new show, and backstage, Gethin proved the nattering continued.

Talking to his followers on Instagram, Cardiff-born Gethin says: “Literally haven’t stopped since they said hello to each other at half past six,'” as co-presenter Alex and Jo chat in the background.

“Haven’t got a word in edgeways, didn’t get a word in during the show, can’t get a word in now, sorry to interrupt you, carry on,” he teases them and they laugh and apologise.
Alex and Jo both recently announced they are pregnant so there was lots to talk about, plus, with Joanna being from Swansea and Alex from down the road in Ammanford, they were sure to have some home gossip to share. That’s what we’d like to think, anyway.
Alex told viewers on Monday that she’d be off on her summer break and maternity leave after Friday as she expects her baby girl with husband, Charlie Thomson. The couple are already parents to four-year-old Teddy and two-year-old Kit.
Joanna is expecting her fourth baby with actor husband, James Thornton, and made the surprise announcement on Monday via her Instagram.
