What do singer Lewis Capaldi, the Duchess of Cornwall and Olivia Attwood all have in common? Their pet pups are in the running to be named Celebrity Dog of the Year.
To celebrate National Dog Day on August 26, home and business solutions specialist BiGDUG is honouring celebrity pooches across the UK.
In the running are ITV’s Lorraine Kelly and her Border Terrier Angus, Actor Tom Hardy’s pooch Blue, and TV presenter David Walliams with his Border Terrier Bert, Olivia Attwood with her rescue dog Lola, as well as pooches owned by, Marvin Humes, Pete Wicks, Charlotte Crosby and Kate Ferdinand.
Polly Maclennan, Public Relations Manager, at BiGDUG said: “We thought it was time the limelight is shared by giving these pups the chance to win their very own award.

Entries are open from Thursday, July 22 to Friday, August 13, and you can vote for your favourite celebrity dog on BiGDUG’s voting page.
The winner will be announced on Thursday, August 26.

Olivia and her fiancé Bradley Dack have adopted their new rescue pup Lola. Olivia has just become an ambassador for The Pack Project UK a charity set up to help rehome Romanian stray dogs.
Beth was adopted by Camilla in 2011, from Battersea Dogs and Cats centre .
After her marriage to Rio Ferdinand, Kate renamed her pup Ronnie Ferdinand on his fourth birthday.
