He’s made us laugh our socks off since 2005 with his witty and scathing voice over on long-running Channel 4 show, Come Dine With Me.
But who is Dave Lamb, the guy who takes an ok teatime classic and raises it to comedy gold, every flipping episode?
Well, Dave is a long-standing comic actor and voice over maestro, having provided narration for more than Come Dine With Me over the years.

The 52-year-old lives in Brighton and has also lent his hilarious, often high-pitched tones to shows like Dangermouse, Come Dine With Me South Africa and Ireland and he also provides the voice over on the CBeebies animated shows Big Barn Farm and Waybuloo.
Horrible History fans will recognise him from CDWM-style sketches on the children’s history comedy show and he’s also been in Horrible Histories – The Movie: Rotten Romans. Dave also presented the show, Horrible History: Gory Games.
Early on in his telly career, Dave appeared on Goodness Gracious Me, Miranda, Hippies, Armstrong and Miller and loads more.
In 2016, Lamb presented Come Dine with Me: Champion of Champions, the first time in the 11-year history of the show that he had appeared on screen rather than just narrating.
The new series of Come Dine With Me is now airing on Channel 4, 5pm, weeknights.
