Casa Amor is back for 2021 with a brand new location, 12 additional contestants and a villa with even more features than usual.
Monday night’s episode saw the boys sneak away to the second villa where they were joined by Salma, Lillie, Amy, Clarisse, Mary and Kaila, while the girls stayed back at the main villa to meet new boys, Matthew, Sam, Medhy, Harry, Dale and Jack. You can see the full list of the new Casa Amor cast here.
The twist occurs every year and is often coined as the “ultimate test” for the couples as they meet new islanders hoping to tempt the them away from their current relationships.
A game of truth and dare has already ruffled feathers, with Teddy Soares, who is currently coupled with Faye Winter, and Merthyr-born Liam Reardon, who is partnered with Millie Court, kissing new girls in the challenge.
But how long does Casa Amor last and when will the two villas come together?
How long does Casa Amor last on Love Island?
How long does Casa Amor last?
While ITV hasn’t confirmed how many days Casa Amor will go on for, in previous years the twist has lasted about four days.
At which point the contestants will have to decide if they want to return to the villa with their new flames or stick in their current couple and head back to the villa alone.
The group of islanders who remain in the villa have to make the same choice.
As it stands, the current couples are:
Teddy Soares and Faye Winter
Jake Cornish and Liberty Poole
Liam Reardon and Millie Court
Kaz Kamwi and Tyler Cruickshank
Hugo Hammond and Chloe Burrows
Toby Aromolaran and Abigail Rawlings
Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2.
